Carrier Infrastructure
Maps Revealing Carrier Infrastructure
Plan Better With Infrastructure Visibility
We can provide highly powerful and insightful mapping tools based on privileged information from our carriers. This data can be incredibly helpful in lots of scenarios where a leased line is being planned. For example, you may want to get an indication of whether your new office location has been previously or currently serviced with fibre, and if not, are there existing ducts which could aid delivery. All sorts of data ranging from planned ducts, existing fibre infrastructure, nearby ducts and estimated construction costs are available searching against an address.
Multi-Carrier
We work with 3 carriers for data plotting. As standard, resellers of our leased line services will be able to see privileged visibility of Openreach, Colt and CityFibre fibre delivery for the purpose of carrier selection and challenge understanding.
Duct Visibility
Plotted onto Google Maps is carrier duct information. You can see where the duct runs down your searched street and where it enters into a building. We provide other associated useful tools to help estimate distances, which can be useful where infrastructure has yet to be delivered to a site, for example.
Extended Search
Your plotted marker can be moved, and in doing so we extend infrastructure plots. This is particularly helpful in rural areas as you try and discover any existing fibre or fibre infrastructure.
Estimated Excess Construction Charges (ECC)
Based on the classification of the address, and other known factors, the tool is able to give you an idea if the installation costs are likely to exceed what is included within the carrier tariff (eg Openreach will absorb up to £2800).
Delivered Locations
We provide visibility of delivered fibre infrastructure installations. This can include serviced buildings as well as street infrastructure. These allow you to make better decisions on carrier selection, as well as have a greater understanding of delivery challenges.
Address Classification
Search against a postcode, NAD reference or co-ordinate and we can plot a fascinating view of existing and planned duct information surrounding the location. We can help classify an address into a category to give you an estimate of how difficult an installation the order may turn out to be.
